Ft86club on the set of Fast and Furious 7

Not really the set but the staging area for some major scenes being filmed tomorrow....and im not ft86club but I figured I'd represent the club!

So I had the chance through my girlfriends friend to hang out while they were preparing for a scene where the cars are dropped from a c130.

We have ft86club "You've been spotted" cards that we put on peoples cars here. Well I put one on the dash of the c130 and snapped a pic. Through the window you can see all the cars with the 86 logo right there.

Im gonna post one pic as they said they were pretty strict about people doing so. I figured this would be generic enough. Once the movie comes out ill post the others.

I was suprised they were actually dropping real cars that were just running yesterday. They are literally just draining the fluid. Of course the cars had frames welded to them that didnt even allow the tires to touch the ground. They basically will be gliding on rollers coming out of the back fo the plane. There are fitting two cars in the the back of the plane. They showed me the camera rails in the back of the plane. The camera will follow the cars out then point down.

They said the red bull divers will jump first with cameras then the cars and the helicopter will catch everything else. Cars were being decked out with a ton of cameras all over them.

They said even though the frame was welded underneath. Probably much won't be left as they will be hitting the car around 30. There eere duplicate cars and probably a ton more of each. Of all of them I prefer Brians STI. It was sexy as hell.

I actually got to go in the cockpit of the c130 as they were preparing the STI to be loaded up.

Craft services was great as well, food, snacks, drinks or anything you wanted. Really nice group of folks.

Pretty awesome day!

Well doubt the movie can be finished since they were still filming as of last week. Figured I would post the pic from the cockpit with our local club card on the dash of the plane.

Thoughts go out the the families of Roger Rodas and Paul Walker.

I'm guessing they'll figure out how to finish it, been done many times before, and they should as I'm guessing that would have been the desire of everyone involved, and the families.
