Multiple Fuses Blown? Uh oh.

Hi FT86ers,

Since I’m not really familiar with the electrical engineering of the BRZ/FRS, would it be possible if someone could shed some “light” into this situation? More of a minor setback, that is all! Much appreciated.

Here are the series of events:...

1. I noticed the left LED bulb of the license plate went out.

2. I took off the trunk lining & pulled bulb out; it seems like one of the two thin metal wires that tap into the housing was very loose and would not hold into place.

3. I readjusted the bulb back to place & inserted it into the housing, left license plate bulb flickered and shut off.

4. Simultaneously.. side markers, tail lights, trunk, the right license plate, and the LED “eyebrows” did not light up anymore when map lights were switched to on position.

5. Searched FT86Club for answers; replaced the TAIL 10A FUSE from the spare in the engine bay fuse box to the fuse box on the left of the steering wheel.

6. The left side marker LED amber bulb flickered and did not light up anymore (I’m assuming it blew out which I'll have to get replaced).

7. The interior dome light no longer turns on when the light is set to “DOOR” but will turn on when switched to “ON”.

*Can confirm that left side marker LED amber bulb short circuited; stuck OEM bulbs in & worked fine.

*Took out dome light housing and reinserted the bulb. Still does not work.
