Lip kit - to paint or not to paint? That is the question

So i received an ebay lip kit for my birthday for the brz and i am curious cause it appears most users of the kit do not paint it prior to install. Is this correct? Or do you recommend i paint or plastidip the whole kit before installing? I think it would look nice without paint since i have a raven brz but i may be wrong. Also how much do you folks think is a reasonable price for installation of this little kit? I was going to call several shops this weekend to get a quote. If the cost is too high i may just have to do it myself.

Personal taste but that lip would look pretty odd if painted. Unpainted is my opinion. My current lip setup is plain black and I like the contrast

I painted mine same color as the car. My personal preferance as I think all the unpainted ones rarely look good. Also when I got them there were little marks all over it.

I like the black contrast, however I didn't like how PU looks like. So I painted them Satin Black myself.

I wouldn't rock unpainted, at least paint it black. You can easily prep and paint with supplies from your local automotive shop or home depot. The PU from the factory normally has scratches on it.
