235/55/18R Tires

I am wondering if anyone has ever tried tires of this size on our cars? I am looking at getting some Enkei wheels, 18x8 or 18x8.5 with +40 or +45 offset, and a buddy of mine has a set of brand new tires, 235/55/18R that I can get an awesome deal on. I am on stock height, and don't have any plans of lowering in the near future. Any insight on ride quality, fitment issues, rubbing, etc. would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

235/55-18?

28.2" diameter, more than 3" taller than stock. You'd want something like 225/40-18.

I think OP is trying to fill in the wheel well gap. In one of the twincharged threads there was a look at bigger than stock ties due to wanting to close the gap without extreme lowering due to Aussie road legality requirements.

I figured that they would be too thick, but I know there are quite a few people on here and I thought maybe someone has tried it. Lol. Trying to save some money. I am pretty sure I am going to run Enkei Raijins 18X8.5+45 with 235/40-18 tires.
