Does an OFT tune clear out any changed TPMS id's

I have a set of summer wheels on now with TPMS sensors. I flashed the new sensor IDs to the ECU using TPM QuickSet. I flash an OFT tune yesterday with EcuFlash and this morning (first time turning on the car) my TPMS light is on. Did this clear out the codes that I wrote? Or is a tire actually low on psi?

Check the pressures first....And if all good I would relearn the TPMS's

Would have made sense to check the pressure before starting this thread, then you would have had your answer

Yes, I know. The problem was I couldn't find my pressure checker so I tried to get a quick answer here. I drove to autozone to get a checker and all pressures are at about 31 psi. It is cooler than usual today so maybe that's why it's showing now. Not sure if it is low enough to trigger the light or not though, I will top them off and reflash tpms ids if I have to.

My TPMS sensor light came on after flashing V2.06. Did not come on after flashing V2.01, or any earlier tune. And, yes, pressures are all fine.

Strange.

I had a dealer update my TPMS back in April when I put some new rims on with my summer tires. I immediately get back and flash using OFT thinking nothing about the fact that it might override the TPMS update. I haven't had any issues since then and the tire pressure seems to be fine (with no TPMS light).

I reflashed TPMS ids before I even checked pressure since it takes like 30 seconds. I then bought a pressure checker and found all wheels @ 31 psi. Topped them all off and the light went off. So I'm thinking a flash does not overwrite this part of the ecu.

I was under the impression tpms was a completely different system in the car (which is why tuners can't turn off the warning light with software).

You may be right, all I know is my TPMS flashing tool connects at the obd2 port so i assumed ecu...but that doesn't mean it's only communicating with the ecu, right?
