For all you Forced Induction Drag strip guys

What tire set up are you running..

I'm hoping to run a 275/45/17 (26") M&H Drag radial on a 17x9.5 in the rear and a 255 up front.

Thoughts?

why not the 888s?

There is a 12c in my neck of the woods on Proxies that runs 10.3 consistant.

12c has a really sophisticated traction control system and most of the weight on the rear tires so I wouldnt compare. also you cant get the r888 in a tall enough sidewall for the strip, with the lack of weight transfer you would have a hard time putting the power down. also depends on the power you are making

255 up front so that you don't understeer during that one corner when pulling off the track at the end of the shutdown area?

You're killing me tut! I will have 255 17's on all 4 corners for the street sitting on 17x9.5's my two rims in the back will be 16x(8-9)'s for the 255 mt et's that i will swap out to when i head to the strip.

For now my focus is getting the 16's and mt ets so i can goto the strip on stop fronts.

You're killing me bro. You said you were running 17"s in the rear, so I was confused as to why you wanted to run a 16" in the front for your 255. I got it now.

the car will be very unstable with a drag in the back and a 255 width tire in the front. Better you get a skinny setup for the front
