Wanna go fast 1/2 mile

I will be running in this event on sunday the 22nd, and I think that Dynosty might be bringing their built car as well. It will be a good time watching super cars go fast.

I hope to hit about 160+ but we will see.

It's too bad I was running into fueling issues and breaking up. Still, a fun day.

Bummer. Did you find the source of the issue? Unfortunately i didn't get to see you run. For 4 cylinders that S2000 there was sick! Very clean and i think it did like 160mph? I was impressed...

Our customers car had issues with traction all day and just missed 200mph with a 199.xx run. Excited to see that fixed in Texas for a 200mph run.

What car was that? I stayed the entire day, and yes that S2k was very nice. I was talking to him before the start of the runs, and even gave him some tape to cleanup his body trim. He hit 163ish I think, and I should have been running near that (comparing power to weight.)

We are 90% that it was running out of pump, so that will be on the upgrade list before October when it comes back around.

It was the white GTR (UnaBomber) over by the TopSpeed trailer (customer car). TopSpeed Alpha12+ - Unabomber

Was the S2000 running a stock bottom end? I tech'd the car and i swear he said stock bottom end but then i started questioning myself if i heard him right. He did a fantastic job with the build - it looks really clean!

Hopefully i'll get to see your car out another time - i definitely want to check it out!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he was on a stock bottom.

Whenever you're in the area let me know. I will be back out in October.

Were you there for the alpha that went down at the end of the day? It ran a 213, then had a failure at the end of the track. The viper ran a 213 right after it too. They were checking out the timing lights because the traps were identical down to the tenth (213.06.)

Yea i was actually there for the whole thing. Fun to have a little drama at the end with the tie. I believe they both tied with a 213.0628 which is identical down to the ten-thousandth of a second. Crazy...

Did the AMS car blow a head gasket? Didn't get the whole story there on what happened. That Viper was a missile - can't imagine piloting that.

I'm not entirely sure either. I just saw some smoke and the car at the end of the runway.

It's amazing how much speed that viper would pick up at the back 1/8 he was actually lagging behind a lot of cars until he started spraying. After that, it was out of control.

Never visit this section and didn't realize anyone from here was at the event. I was there (last year also) with my C5 ZO6. This year was MUCH better than last year...they did a phenomenal job. Total bummer that they lost Bult Field and hope they find something close to Chicago again for the event that was suppose to happen in October.

Here is one of the runs I made against a Ford GT.

It was a hot day and was down a bit from last year where the car ran 164mph with the exact same setup/tune.
