What to buy next

So i've been having my FR-S for about a month now and all that I have done to her is put tint on her and a Full Greddy Exhaust system.

But for some reason i want it louder. Any Suggestions? Would a header make the rumble louder? Thank you in advance.

New Air Filter

A high flow air filter will make the sound slightly louder/better from the front end or a new air intake. I had good results with my k&n drop in air filter.

Depends how loud you want it, but yes EL or UEL header will help in the rumble department (and power).

Which greddy exhaust is it?
Headers or op would be the next thing to replace if it isn't loud enough for you

OFT still seems like the best bang for buck mod while still NA. That, or tires.

He's asking what will make the car louder not what's the best mod (although I completely agree with you).

Get an OpenFlash Tablet. Get a UEL catless header, because those have the boxer rumble. Tomei's looks very nice, OpenFlash's is very nice, FT-86SF's is very nice. Then get a Nameless catted OP/FP.

Flash your car to stage 2, enjoy the noise and the extra power. Go team.

Headers will make it a little throatier, and grant some extra pep. So will a performance intake system, both are great options. The intake is going to be the cheaper of the two.

Which GReddy did you go with? The SP Elite or the EVO3? I've been mauling them over, I had SPs on a few of my cars in the past and LOVED them, awesome note, not raspy like a lot of the N1s I heard. Not obnoxiously loud, most of all.

Was thinking there might be a little bit more performance out of the EVO3 though.

SP Elite is a fairly quiet exhaust to begin with... I would look at maybe going with a different exhaust before you opt to start changing other parts of the exhaust system...

Save your money; the OEM intake is very well optimized already. Get a better filter and leave it at that. Or get GrimmSpeed's intake once it's out, since they've actually done a tremendous amount of testing and keep a decent air/fuel ratio.

Will a catless header require a tune?
