[Video] Schwarzwald - Taking a Tour

Hey guys

I've just receipt my new GoPro Equipment (better casing, external Mic etc) and since sun was shining I visited the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) in Germany for a tour.

The Schwarzwald may not have the awesome scenery like the alps, however it is one of the finest places to dirve your car, with tons of little roads that offer anything a car nut can ask for.

I'll start todays post with the first Video. This shows a short canyoning drive with wingo. I've got another 2 Videos to come in the next few days.

Hope you enjoy it.

Btw, sorry for the shaking, bad idea mounting the cam on the wing. Will do better next time

Secound Video shows a short Hillclimb. Sadly the GoPro decided to relax a bit to much at the end of the Video ;-)

Well the wing provides a good view, pity about the shaking though...

That was cool to see the BMW fly by. Local dude maybe? That was a nice little stretch of road...straights? What straights?

BMW dude was behind me as I entered the canyon, since I do not to race on public road I decided to let him pass when I had the chance. However he was never pushing me so was a nice companion :-)

That looks like a lovely road. Good to hear the BMW driver was giving you room.

I *heart* your wing.

Question: How far is this from your home?

Sweet! I was gonna make a video yesterday of me going up and down my local hill, but I couldn't make it happen. Instead I just got a video of me driving down Mission Street.

About the road lines: do you have the same rule where it's okay to cross a broken line, but not a solid line?

edit: WTF, is it not possible just to post a link to a Youtube video? I tried using the URL tags in the first sentence of this post and it posted the video instead of my text. Even when I tried just pasting the link plain-text, and it posted the video. Well, here it is anyway:

Thanks for the Vid. I sure do miss the US, looking forward to next year when I'm going to see your beautyful country again.

And yes, in general over here a solid line is not ok to cross, there are some exeptions however

I really like the wingcam angle. Video stabilizing software could probably make it a lot less shaky.

Drive carefully and have fun. I remember the first time I was with wingo in the blackforrest, it was more fun than in any car I've driven those roads before
