Does the frs/brz still turn heads when driving

2 years after the release of this awesome car, do you still attract much attention?
Any funny stories

I drive a red FRS (1 month and 2 days old) and I definitely get a kick out of people checking the car out especially at stop lights and at intersections. No particularly funny stories but I just caught a couple staring at my car as they were walking by. When our eyes met, they did a terribly awkward job of trying to look away ie. Looking straight down vs straight ahead. I found their awkwardness hilarious on the drive back.

Just remembered the a funny incident that happened today... at my expense. Today was the first day of school and I parked in the parking garage. Now imagine the entrance of this garage has a pretty steep incline. Since I'm no wizard at clutch control, I had to use the E brake. As my luck would have it there was a crowd (8+) of students exciting the parking garage on foot and I felt some of them were definitely checking out the car. As soon as I scanned my ID, I let out the clutch way too quickly and kind of panicked with the engine lugging because of the incline (due to insufficient gas), I made a ass clown out of myself and stalled in front of them. I didn't have the heart to see their faces probably laughing at me lol.

Yes!! It does! I often receive compliments from "seasoned" adults. People look, it is a white out FR-S, with black WedsSports SA-15R

Had the car for a year and a couple months now, never fails to attract attention. But then it is firestorm red with gold Enkei RPF1's. No funny stories really, just a lot of thumbs up and compliments. And then there's the cops, they like to stare me down

i really have no idea nowadays - i'm usually concentrating on the road when i'm driving (and looking out for fellow twin owners to give a thumbs up to), and don't really look around much when i'm stopped; other than at the lights.

Yep. Still not that many of them in my area, so a lot of folks have no idea what it is.

I have the Lightning Red BRZ with Tom's tails, clear side markers and 40% tint all around, but otherwise it's stock. I went through the drive thru at Raising Cane's (a chicken place) in Alexandria, LA last week, and the girl at the window said, "Hey, what kind of car is that?" After the usual exchange, she turned around to a guy who was working in there and said, "Come check out this car!"

The guy came to the window, looked it over from front to rear and said, "That's fuckin' dope."

The girl gasped, smacked him on the arm and said, "You can't say that in front of a customer! You're gonna get me in trouble!"

I LOL'd and reassured her that I would not complain.

After 6 weeks...

A guy in a C6 circles my car twice and says to me "I didn't know Subaru made a sporting car"

A guy in a old Alfa Spider was on my ass for 15 miles straight.

A woman at the BK drive thru went gaga over the thing and was shocked to learn it was only 26 grand.

A guy in a red 993 gave it a long stare as he was backing out of a minimart.

And half a dozen people that asked "is it fast?" are then are floored to learn it isn't.
