I posted this in my log but wanted to see what people have to say.. I had a completely embarrassing event today that ended in corded tires after my 3rd DNF. The first was erroneous (I went back for it), the second I know I missed a gate, but the 3rd.. I thought it was a good run, but with my fancy new camera location I just can't say so definitively.

The alleged missed gate would have been between 0:40 and 1:00. What do you think? Pay no attention to the missed gear change. The run was pretty sloppy overall.

Is it the one right at 0:59? Or are the three cones to the far right not part of that feature?

If you got a DNF on that run, I'd assume those three cones you passed on the right were supposed to be a curved slalom. Difficult to make a call since you can only really see one side of the course from that angle.

Right around the 55-59 second mark you pass 3 cones and they're on the right, not seeing if there are cones on the left, it looks like a slalom with options, but no the one you took.

Where do they run at in Iowa, may bring mine back and hit an event while I'm home visiting.

Those 3 cones weren't the issue - that was just a place to turn around. The one person that thinks they might have seen something at the event said it was "at the back of the 1/4 oval," which would be closer to the beginning of that time window. And he watched the video and couldn't point it out. I guess I'll just assume either it can't be seen in the video or it was a bad call. :\ Thanks for taking a look guys!

Here's one, posted right after I went to bed. I'll take a look after work. He's been #1 in PAX for 4 events this year including this one.

I didn't see anything different, sometimes people make mistakes. I had a mystery DNF last year no one could ever account for.

Yeah.. I would just ignore it except I didn't get a time for any of my 3 runs because of the 2 (alleged) bad calls and that pretty much ruins my season points.
