JDM classics PRE 1985

So I used to be REALLY into JDM classics. Definitely still am, but not as much as I was.

Anyway, I realise there's already a few car threads, but this one is for anything JDM, pre 1985. The rarer the better!

Here's a kp31 starlet/publica.

This next one is my 1973 Toyota Corolla 'Trueno' TE27 JDM

Factory 2T-G w/ twin side draft solex carbys, extractors.
Factory T50, disc brakes and braided lines.
Wheels are old school enkei's, not sure of the model.

Future plans are to freshen the engine bay up a bit. Some trumpets on the carbs. Might respray it too, seeing as its 40 years old this year!

Some KPGC10's

My 1968 Datsun 1600 Roadster (aka Fairlady)

Got it cheap...needs a little work but it's a blast to drive. Thinking about an SR20DE swap, but not this year.

My first car was a 1980 Toyota Corolla 1.8 SR5... I might have to look for a few pictures when I get home. I sold it to my old man when I got my new car. It needs some work still, but its been bored/stroked/cam'ed. The plan was to swap an AE86 rear axle in with the LSD and better final drive ratio (also allows us to upgrade rear to disk brakes). That was never finished though.

Here are my JDM Classics:

72 Celica with Enkei Apache Rims(which I sold, needed a DD and so bought the BRZ instead)

75 HiLux with 18R-G (twincam 2000cc 7000 RPM Celica engine with Yamaha head based on the i6 in the 2000GT) & Hayashi Racing Perrier Rims

67.5 Datsun Fairlady 1600 My cousin was the original owner. I'm trying to make this a 67.5 2000 clone and have a 5speed and 2000cc U20 engine waiting to go in. Also have some Hayashi ST wheels which need to be refinished and installed.

Bonus: my wife's e30 in the background

I'm gonna try to do a 70s tribute look with the BRZ. Hoping to get the TRD louvers and Watanabes/Hayashis for it.

Nice Datsun and I've always wanted that Celica. There's one similar near me I stare at.
