Are your windows hard to control

Seems there is an annoying sweet spot to roll the windows down part way. Almost like I have to hit that little bump to control this. As for control of passenger window from drivers side, I can only go all the way down. Drivers window I can hit that little spot and it works fine. Is this a defect or bad design? It's pretty annoying

I have this problem too. Have to try several times to get it where I want it. Usually use the vents anyways to avoid wind noise

Took me a while to realize and get used to the two-step switch.

If you push or pull all the way down, it automatically opens or closes all the way.

But if you push/pull half way, you can hold it as long as you want until the window is where you want it, let go and its good. going halfway doesnt engage the automatic fully open/close feature.

Bingo PandaSPUR is 100% correct.

Anyone that's owned Toyotas over the years knows the "two-step switch" feature as it's been used on the driver's door only for years now.

Toyota finally listen to their owners and have been installing this feature on both front door windows on newer model Toyotas.

My windows were somewhat hard to control as I was originally very lenient with them. I have since given them a stern talking to and now they are much more controlled.

2 step feature tho

I actually read the manual before I got the car (while anxiously waiting for paperwork), but still managed to miss the part about the window. Who would've known a window switch could be so complicated >_> Figured it out myself eventually.

That's the ticket. There is a wealth of wonders to be found in there.
