DRL not dim on driver's side
Driver side DRL not dimming. High beams seem to be ok. Not sure where to start troubleshooting this issue.

the Daytime Running Lights do not dim, they are On/Off. Are you referring to the Headlights? If so, what mods have you done to the lighting circuit?

Oh shoot... my bad.... BRZ is different. You have an FRS.
Did you install LED DRLs?

No. Have been running 9005 Silverstars for several months now with no issues. The car has had a battery disconnect recently at the dealer to resolve a separate issue I had. Could be related to the disconnect but I'm trying to avoid having to go back to the dealership again. Think it is a good idea to run this issue through the forum first as there seems to be more knowledge collectively among actual user/owners.

The DRLs share the highbeam bulbs on the stock FRS headlights. They should go off when your headlights are turned on and are dimmed by a relay that routes the power through a resistor that reduces the current so that they light dim. The resistor is on the passenger side by the back of the turn signal in the front (taking the bumper off is really helpful in locating it). If your driver's side is not dimming and the passenger side is with your headlights off then you could have a problem with a faulty resistor that is not down stepping the driver's side current. Also could be that they screwed up by disconnecting and not resetting something they should have. I would check that first before looking at the resistor as the problem. Should be covered by your warranty.
