Do you think Scion will offer something similar to Miata's Brembo/BBS package?

Waiting for the facelifted FR-S/86 right now.

I was playing with the Miata's configuration tool earlier and saw the Brembo/BBS package for the Miata Club and thought it was a good deal.

Seriously hope Scion/Subaru could offer something like the new Miata's Brembo/BBS package for the facelifted FR-S/BRZ...it would save me a lot of trouble and some money too (I know the chance of that happening is very slim, but it wouldn't be a bad idea would it?)

I think Subaru will come out with a "Tuned by STI" BRZ that will have upgraded springs & brakes as well as some nice wheels

The JDM BRZ tS has all that's needed. Yes, they'll offer a US version.

There is already the TRD/STI combo package. Just a different big brake kit in another package.

If all want is the Brembo brand you can just buy the rotors.

By package do you mean we can order it when ordering the car?

You might have to get them special ordered from Japan. Sadly Japan always gets the good stuff. Depending on how cool your local dealer is, they can get it for you.

But really any big brake kit would do the same job.
In other words it's the same burger in a different wrapper.

If it's not a factory option/package, I will just get my friend in Japan to order it for me, I'm sure it would be cheaper than having the dealer to place the order too.

As for the BBK, I don't care about the brand, but factory option just makes it easier

And 3x as expensive for trd stuff which is all rebranded. Trd BBK is standard brembo if I remember right with just trd stenciled on it.

truthfully ur better off going with an aftermarket BBK.. Some "brembos" that are offered on stock cars arent that great, compared to other options out there. If it was an option to add it on when you order the car it's going to be downright expensive to get.

I thought the Miata's Brembo/BBS package was priced reasonably, as for factory Brembos the only ones I have experiences with are the ones on Camaro SS, ZL1, and Mustang. The Mustang ones aren't that great like you said, the SS ones are ok, and the ZL1 ones are great, but also more expensive than most factory Brembo lol.

Anyways, I will just have to wait and see what options will be available when I order the facelifted FR-S. And if I have the budget I might get a set of Project Mu BBKs since I have heard great things about them from some friends in Japan.
