Maybe someone in the local forum can help?

Posted this in the main BRZ forum and so far got 1 or 2 responses, but nothing concrete. 2 days no further responses, post is on it's way to being buried. Gonna try for help here.

Anyone able to check this out then next time they drive their car on the H1/H2/H3?

I went to the dealership yesterday and compared a car on the lot to my hood and it seemed to be the same fitment.

Thanks!

So I dont have a Toyota 86 or a Subaru BRZ, but this is something we did when I would help out at a body shop. When replacing hoods, to get things to line up properly, we would repeatedly open and close them to make the thing settle in. Also, like the other two guys said, there are rubber stoppers that should be able to be adjusted. That pushes up on the hood to eliminate vibrations while driving. Sounds kinda trivial, but thats the overall fix for the thing. I hope this helps lol

Thanks for the response. The stoppers near the front don't seem to adjust. They spin but don't change height to be able to push on the hood and tighten the fit. The sales guy at the dealership said it might be normal due to the hood being so light. I can't tell for sure without someone checking theirs for comparison.
