Greddy vs JDL

Hello, I'm new to the FI and have a noob question. As far as I know, you can pick Garret turbo in JDL kit and Greddy kit has the Mitsubishi turbo. Since greddy kit has came out for a while and Mitsubishi turbo is not well known as Garret turbo. Is the Garret turbo in JDL kit more advance than the Mitsubishi turbo in Greddy kit? Like two similar size turbo but one has less lag and more efficient? Or do complete turbos from different brands all have similar designs only have size difference? Is a new released turbo significantly better than a old one released three or five years ago? Thank you!

Apples and oranges.

FWIW, Mitsubishi's turbo market share is something like 100-1000x larger than Garrett's.

The Garrett turbos used in JDL's base kits can generate more boost, if you want to make big power. The Mitsubishi turbos used in GReddy's kits are exponentially stronger.

My GReddy T518Z kit makes 360whp, and I can have full boost at ~2700 RPM, with a stock exhaust and stock front pipe. How much power do you really want to make?

PM me for either kit.
