New HKS supercharger System 2014

Its the new layout for the HKS supercharger system which base from our car Pikes Peak car and HKS japan D1 car. With 2.5 inch piping and less parts it should keep the price a little lower then the old kit. The HKS kit like our Pikes Peak car can make up to 300-400whp. You would need to build your motor, fuel system, and smaller pulley. Which HKS plans on releasing a stroker kit too at the same time. Kit should also come with HKS new flash editor ECU.

Should be releasing soon in the US around end of summer!

**The Blue Line is the 1st gen kit
**The Purple Line is which Injectors change

Also there is room for a oil cooler which not a lot of FMIC can do.

Since this requires an engine build, I don't see the point of a supercharger. A 10-15psi turbo on a built engine in this platform makes much more power with a similar curve and minimal lag. Just my opinion, looks really nice though!

I think the engine build part will be optional, and is just a bit of liability limitation if someone pops their motor. I don't think many people in the mid 300 range are building their bottom ends.

Is this the actual piping layout? It looks like the piping after the intercooler would go through the radiator.

That said, this is a very nice looking setup.

What? The purple line is the 1st gen kit with new injectors? This new kit uses the exact same blower? What is the impeller speed with the stock pulley, and what is the max rated impeller speed? Do you have a compressor map?

There is almost no information about HKS kits online in English, except that it is way more expensive than comparable options.

Be nice to see some actual on car mounted pics, hard to tell where everything ends up here. Like the IC looks to be that only 60-70% would be actually exposed to incoming air, the IC piping will you cut crash beam for this etc....?

The new kit is really nice. More info coming out hopefully? Also, is it just as reliable on stock cars like the vortech?
