Nameless Axleback. Which muffler?

I have decided on the 2.5" nameless axleback after breaking in my car. I'm not looking to net any gains, just some nice deep sound. However, I'm stuck on deciding whether to get the 4" or 5" mufflers. There are many videos on the 5" muffler but not for the smaller one.

I'm looking for something a little loud where you can notice the boxer rumble at idle and acceleration, but not attract too much attention from cops. I also don't plan to upgrade anything else on the exhaust due to California emissions. Can you guys who have heard this exhaust in person help me decide which size muffler to purchase? Thanks

I have the 5" and it honestly is perfect. Sounds like a really nice factory exhaust.... The YouTube videos don't really do it justice and it's definitely not too loud.

5" is loud enough in my opinion.

5" sounds good, I've heard it. When I asked the guys at Nameless about 4" vs. 5", they told me that if I had any concerns about it being loud, to go with the 5", so that's my plan.

+1 on the 5" also. I have the offset mufflers and I love the sound.

Aside from sound levels between the muffler delete, 4" and 5" mufflers, what differences are there in MPG between those? If any, it is probably minuscule at most but I was curious.

Thanks for the responses! I don't see an option for the offset axleback. I guess they all are offset? So I'm kind of set on the 5" due to most people's recommendations, but I still wonder - how much louder can the 4" even be? I want to to be noticed at idle, just not super loud on acceleration in 1st and 2nd.

Just stick to 5" you'll be more than satisfied. One of my favorite aspect about the exhaust is its distinct tone. Deep and mature sounding

MPG has nothing to do with the axleback. You would only see a difference if you changed anything up front. It's only about sound for this section. If anything, you would maybe gain a very very slight amount from the weight reduction of the stock muffler.

i have 4 inch and its perfect if you just run downpipe/ axleback
loud enough to be heard,

but if you add header, you need the help of a 5 inch

I think they are all offset now. When I bought mine it was still an option.
