I don't have any pix, but I did the Cusco carbon steering wheel. Looks and feels amazing.

It's about 2" smaller in diameter. Flat bottom. Notched for your thumbs. And uses all the stock pieces (i.e. air bag, cruise, pins, screws, back cover, etc)

Just saw it on google, Mine is already wrapped in alcantara but I'm looking for something like this and to retain cruise control with it too:

Think it's called a deep dish style steering wheel.

GT Grant and Momo used to have setups to retain cruise control on certain cars (and I remember people rewiring them to work on other cars). Can't find them anymore though

Saw that people make custom brackets for them, doesn't look clean though.

Take a look at Cusco. Roughly $650 and you get the alcantara wheel and keep the original spine set up within the steering wheel. So at this point I'd say when looking at wheels, look for something with a complicated center area and allows you to keep the air bag. At that point the wiring harness is still being utilized.

I've seen a few other companies that make wheels like what I've described, but they're all roughly $1,200

I'll take a pic of my steering wheel soon and show you how I've done it, still want that deep dish wheel that brings back old school jdm.

AvoJDM stock the DAMD wheel which is priced reasonably. I believe they may have an outlet in the states, or a vendor.
This wheel has an internal frame which utilizes the OEM accessories (like airbag).
