$4K is quite cheap for Motec, it's my #1 preference for forced induction on the 86.

Well the price the op posted is kinda cheaper(assuming it's in aud) than what I've seen from us sellers.

For the price in aud is pretty cheap(~3-3.5k usd). But I haven't found a us distributor selling it less than 5k usd(roughly 6k aud).

motec is awesome... i'd love the live tuning and all that. i don't really see the value over racerom for 99% of us, though. then again value is relative, and it is really really really cool

i bought my hundred series ecu back when the exchange rate was almost 40% off.. yeah i got a really good deal. now the aud is 1 to 1.12, so essentially 12 cent off per dollar. try and buy it from an aud dealer, but most wont let you.
