Where do you predict Used prices will be come summer?
I'm in the market for a Used BRZ Limited (White, MT) for pretty much as cheap as possible, and am willing to wait 6-8 months. The lowest price I've seen is 22k for 40k miles. A lot seem to be in the 24k-25k range, and at that point I may as well get a new one for 26. Do you see used prices dropping in the next several months? What should be my expectations?

I don't know but I was shocked to see that used 2013 models are still going for almost sticker price.

Check out cars.com. Dealers are usually 2000 -3000 more than private sellers. One private seller is asking for $22,000 at 12,000 in mileage. These prices will probably go higher as the summer approaches. Ask to negotiate.

Dealers pad their cars $2-3K and leave room for negotiation. Used prices are also going to be regional, example it is harder to sell a RWD sportscar here in the midwest in the winter.

by mid to late summer 2013s should be sub $20K as a two year old model, particularly if 2015 brings a power increase so some other meaningful upgrade.
oh, and here's the trade-in program link: http://www.subaru.com/finance-center...de-in-program/ |

You might want to look for a good deal on new 2013 BRZ since you can 0% APR* and dealer seem to want them off the lots. That was the tipping point for me. |

I wouldn't expect it to be very low anytime soon so you might as well get a new one.

they won't go down much in the next few months. The next drop will be in the next milage bracket. The way most of us drive them it will be another 6 months or so?

I was on the same boat as you. I was looking for used BRZ limited but found that they are in the 23k-25k range. I then came across a local dealership selling NEW 2013 models for just over 24k. Sold!
Look around, there are probably a few dealerships trying to get rid of 2013 models at a good price! |
