Carbon Ceramic Brakes Needed

We were doing winter testing out here about 5F. Just installed a pink billet oil cap and silicone carbon fiber look vacuum hose. Of course we reset the ECU sonit would re learn the vast perameters.

Went to a test area, public residential area and got up to 178MPH and noticed some brake fade. At first we thought it was because we were not Stanced properly. We tried removing our decals as well. But after spraying commercial grade air duster on the brakes we realized we have now trancended street car status an are full race.

We are looking for some carbon ceramic brakes or carbon vinyl ceramic brakes to take us to the next level, need to stay under $156.76 excluding shipping, thats all I have left on my Walmart Visa card.

Carbon ceramics are old hat, need KERS bro, just wait for the 2015 hybrid refresh it'll be so much faster.

Edit: It'll even boost the electric turbo so you don't need to do all that exhaust junk, just need straight pipes.

lol can't even hit 180 and wanting to spend a years income on brakes

Try hitting up Bed Bath Beyond, can probably fab up your own ceramic brakes for less than that.

I find that my local community center usually holds pottery class, and they also have a kiln for firing ceramic. I can make you a set for the sum of USD $5 million if you deposit into my western union account of my sick relative so I can pay their medical bills

kindly,

Curious if the FRS was ever designed aerodynamically to be stable at 180mph.

If you topped out at 140 you probably need NOS. One of the big ones. Actually, let's make it two.

Before you waste all that money on F1 brake components trying to eliminate fade, try adding a little Freon to your brake fluid reservoir. The harder you push the brake pedal the cooler your brake fluid gets. It's an old Nascar trick.

I think your best bet is to mount chutes to the rear of the car. This may negatively affect lap times, however, because you will need to get out and repack the chute after each turn so it is once again ready for deployment.
