Help with wheel purchase

Okay, I'm going to apologize now for asking such noob question, but I have zero knowledge with wheels and tires. I'm looking to buy multi-spoke style wheels, similar to the ones on the BRZ STI photos. I came across the ASGA Spirit wheels on A&J racing and I am totally in love. Also, the price is pretty sweet too. However, they only seem to makes these in 18" ..I believe the FRS comes with 17" wheels. So, anyways...My question is, if I order these, how do I know they will fit? Would i need to buy different tires? etc, etc? I'm really just looking for the easiest solution wheels that will fit the FR-S without any hassle or anything. Any help is appreciated.

make sure the wheels u want is 5x100. Yes our og specs are 17's. You will need new tires if you get 18s. I checked on the website u linked it too and yes they will fit. If the hub bore isnt the same when you put them on just go to any tire shop so you can purchase hub centric rings for them to fit

^what this guy said.

I also would recommend going with a 225/40R18 or 235/35R18 tire since the wheels are 8" wide. You will probably need new lugnuts and to transfer over your TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) Sensors to the new wheels. Looks like that price is per wheels so you're probably looking at a good $1500-1800 for wheels, tires, & lugnuts.

A couple people in this thread already have used them in 18x8 +40:

You might ask them (PM) to see what tires they went with, and whether they had any fitment issues, but these aren't aggressive in size or offset, so should be fine.

hey thanks for the recommendation. Yes those wheels are about $250 a pop, which fits right into my budget and doesn't break the bank. Plus, they're exactly what I'm looking for so I can't be any happier.
