Just put winter tires on.
On the higway today, had to brake hard because of an object on the highway but instead of braking in straight line, car would pull to the right side.

So I tried again later on a flat road and it still pulls to the right side when braking hard.

I dont remember having this problem when I had summer tires on.. even during autox..

I want to get this fixed asap since it scared the shit out of me the first time it happened.. anything else I should check other than air pressure?

Air pressure first.

Then check pads to make sure they're wearing evenly.

Third is alignment...

If pressures are OK, swap front tires left/right. If pull changes from left to right, you have a bad front tire.

While you're under there you should be able to see if your tires are wearing evenly, uneven wear would indicate an alignment problem.

Possible frozen caliper as well.

I'd suggest you take it into a brake shop ..... before that puppy pulls you off a slick road.

In addition to what was mentioned above, maybe bleeding the brakes would even it up.

Let's hope your car's ABS isn't all wonked out ....

Thanks. I checked the pressure on my way home.. all same 32psi.. was too dark and cold when I got home to check other stuff.. These are brand new and directional tires so I can not swap left and right.. snow tomorrow..

But you could swap the right side front to rear ....

I would take it to a shop and have it looked at.
I have seen where new tires were not made right and cause havoc .

You can swap directional tires left to right for a short test drive. It won't hurt anything.

I had simular two weeks ago when I put my winters on (dunlop wintersports),.. I would actually pull left on acceleration and right on decel, generally at 70+ was it noticeable. I rotated the tires and it went away, .. i figure it a bad tire,.. .that I wont replace .. cause i rarely drive my car in the winter.
