Best inexpensive door replacement speakers?
Hey guys, I already have an aftermarket head unit, and I'm about to get an all-in-one 8" sub for my trunk. I am now looking into replacing my door speakers. Is this the best way to improve sound now that I'll finally have some bass? I am not an audiophile, so I don't need super-expensive stuff. I just came out of a car with a nice Boston Acoustics stock system that sounded great, and the BRZ was really a downgrade in audio. I only want to replace speakers. Can anyone recommend some 6.5" door speakers that are a great improvement over stock but won't break the budget? Or should I be focusing on mids/tweeters first (I really hate the idea of replacing these since I have to cut and solder factory wires since there doesn't appear to be a harness)?
Thanks! |

So...are these any good?
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ce-6032si.html They're a little cheaper on Amazon but it's easier to browse speakers there. |

Okay so...I am a car audio noob. I plan on keeping tweeters in the stock location, unless it's better to have them in the door for some reason. That means I need component 6.5"s and not coaxial ones, right? So I should be looking at something like this instead (and just buy separate 1" tweeters)?:
