Hid i d recommendations?

So I'm think of getting hids but i don't know what to buy. I'm set on some 6000k but I'm not sure how much i should be spending. I see some that range from 30-220$. I have some vendors book marked on this page cause i obviously trust it more than ebay or amazon. Any recommendations guys?? Should i get hids first or reverse / licensee lights?

Don't cheap out on something you'll use regularly.

I have the Meng Motorsports V2 kit in 6k and love it. Get compliments on it often. I think its just over $100 (I won mine at a meet, so idk exactly). Retrofit is the proper way, but as long as you bend the squirrel finders and adjust the lights a PnP kit is fine.

Please do, and some pics of your car if you have the free time.

It feels like most people are happy with their 100-130 hids. I don't think im ready to drop 300$ into lights seeing how im not expert in them to know what im getting. Probably if i ever want to build a show car, but thats a long way from now.

If you're not comfortable making your own decisions, try researching the pros/cons of using a PnP HID kit versus the correct way of retrofitting HID projectors.

I'll send you the link and some pics when I get off work about an hour or so, I felt the same way about dropping a lot of money but these are legit, no problems what so ever.

We have HID kits (PlatinumR HID kit shown below) starting at $129.99 (with proper H11 connectors and they fit properly with the OEM connector).

Check out our reverse and license plate LEDs as well:

Feel free to send us a private message or email us (info@hidpowerhouse.com) if you have any questions.
