Charlotte

I know it is last second, but I am in Charlotte until tomorrow. Any good food recommendations or things I should try and see today?

Just some good food that isnt a chain I can find in Utah. I like to try new things. I like just about everything (aside from vegan dishes), so just something I will enjoy/ maybe not forget

we got some awesome burgers at the Selwyn Pub, too. but they open late (start serving food around 5pm) and late at night they turn into a yuppie bar

you'd probably like Macs. some of the best BBQ that i've found, and Price's Chicken is supposed to be the best chicken place around

^Thanks.

Ended up having dinner at Mccormicks and Schmidt? I think that was what it was called? My first experience with swordfish and it was great.

McCormicks & Schmick's is really good...been to the one in Kansas City and here in Charlotte. Next time you're around I recommend the following:

Pinkey's Ding Dong Chicken sandwich is awesome. If you want sushi, check out Nikko's...or RuSans lunch buffet. If you're uptown, Ri-Ra's has some incredible burgers. Latta Arcade has some great spots, Nefelie's & Vahalla are my favorite there. Cabo Fish Taco is really good...just overpriced. Verde in Huntersville has some really good "Urban Mexican" food, highly recommend. Jim & Nick's has some good BBQ as well as Mac's...great beer selection at Mac's. If you have a sweet tooth, check out Amelie's in NoDa...open 24hr.

My wife's cousin is the chef at Mac's, and the food is great. He actually went to school to be a chef. I can tell you I really like Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers with her family, because he comes up with some off the wall sounding stuff, but it is some of the best stuff you will ever eat.

Y'all need to try Nom Nom burger! It's at Park and Woodlawn, and best burgers I've ever had! Teryaki marinated burgers.
