Moving to NWOH, Which Shop?

I'm moving back to NWOH after seven years of living in Dallas, SoCal, and Baltimore. Does anyone know of a REALLY good shop in the area for Subarus?

I think my wife took the STI to Pure Tuning when we needed a wheel bearing and it took them weeks. They never called to let us know what was going on. We had to call them or stop in and frequently got put on hold. Crap customer service.

Yark scammed us on our 7-year warranty. Turns out we paid for the warranty when we bought the STI, but they never actually set it up with Subaru, so that explains why Dallas and SoCal looked at us like we were delusional when warranty stuff came up. SO, we won't ever be going back to Yark for anything.

I'm planning to do a full suspension upgrade on the STI for rally, along with minor power mods, ecutek tuning, and roll cage. Long-term for the BRZ is the innovate supercharger kit, full exhaust, and ecutek. SO, I need someone who gives top notch service, can be relied upon to do misc repairs without putting my car on a backlog while they dyno other customers' cars. Above all, I appreciate honesty.

Is Accelerated Performance any good?

I can recommend Accelerated. They just finished over 15k in mods on my FRS and provided very good service. Although at a few points there was extra work and expense needed, Accelerated stood solid on their original quote to me. Don is at the forefront of developing performance solutions for this platform.

As with any shop, it's important to be clear at the onset what your needs and expectations are. I feel the staff at Accelerated Performance will do their best to deliver on their promise. You're lucky to be moving to an area with a shop as good as theirs (I drove two hours, each way, to use their shop).

BTW, although I'm new to this forum, I have long experience with cars and tuning shops around Ohio.

Thanks. A few guys at the Toledo Express event yesterday said Accelerated does a great job as well. I'll give them a shot next time.
