Bilstein Damptronic on an FRS

Well, I took the Damptronic electronic shocks and my controller we make for the Porsche and GTR and adapted it to the FRS. It uses CAN data from the steering, G sensors, TPS, brake and speed to control the shocks this gives you a soft ride but the firm cornering of a coil over. We will be at VIR testing it next month, so far on the street it's great. Any suggestion as to what a package should include?
Thanks

I plan on making this as a kit in the next few months, we are having to use the base Bilsteins and remake everything to fit. So far I put 1k testing miles without issues, it sure sets the platform as you enter a turn with a soft entrée and firm mid turn. The kit should be around $3,200 with everything needed.
Thanks

Absolutely not vapor ware, We have been testing & selling the controller for 3 years on Porsches with great results. I saw the FRS at SEMA and had to have one as a test platform to develop new products on, adding the Damptronics just made since. This should be the last set of shocks anyone would buy it can be remapped for about anything with 3 maps like the GTR but windows configured to what ever you want. I will get some pics and shock graphs in the next few days. Just need feedback as to what people would want as a package.
Thanks for looking

I prefer my beef entrées medium rare. Firm beef entrées are usually indicative of being too well done. To each their own, though.

Send a message via AIM to Racecomp Engineering
How quickly does the controller react/adjust to data inputs? Are you using PSS10's?

Cool stuff!

Damptronic

Depending on compression or rebound the shock reacts around 10-30ms, since I use CAN it depends on the factory update rates. It will adjust mid turn so ENTRY, exit can be different for all 4 shocks, since it's not MR fluid it does depend on the valving to get the range. With the Porsches it can be a dramatic change over a set of coilovers versus stk, on a given turn a well tuned set of coilovers like JRZ might be faster they can't compare to driving it home without dumping your coffee in you lap on the first bump. For now I'm using Bilstein front and rear to get the Damptronic parts but the tubes require many changes including shortening and a new end cap with the bushings. As soon as I can figure out how I will attach the shock dyno graph of the front. I'm an old fart.
