Prowl647 finally got a BRZ

Thanks all for all the input. Definitely learned myself right here on these very forums. Purchased a brz premium in Bay Area of CA at MSRP. Definitely could have done better but meh ... Can't take the money with you. Anyways, here's a truncated history of my car history

Evo was a beast. All I did was a works tune and a kn filter. Definitely one of the best handling cars I've owned but soon grew tired of the spartan interior

Went upscale with the s4. Strong, confident and stable on the roads but very sterile and not as engaging as the Evo. Everything about the car was luxurious of course, but it was missing that certain driving factor important to all enthusiasts. It also was a car I could only use 50% of 100% of the time.

Sold the s4 and decided to get a cx5 awd for the mountains and other adventures I go on. But with the funds I had left over decided to get the weekend car as well

As far as the brz goes-I love it. Handling is on par with the Evo and it has a far superior drivers position than any other car I've owned. Yes, it's a bit weak- the cx5 has more torque, but I installed perrins inlet along with the cai. I know many believe the cai is hokum but i first installed the inlet and was able to feel a smoother power delivery from the 2.0. Once I put the cai on though, it was even better- the sounds a lot louder than I anticipated but the power delivery down low is improved. At least 30 hp added. Win! Future mods include: nameless fp/op with res, rev works header and a Works motorsports tune since they did a bang up job on my Evo.
