Question My car runs differently now vs. new. Does yours?

When I first bought my car I was soon greeted with the chirping issue under the hood as well as the terrible erratic idle (whether AC was on or not)

I now have 27xxx kilometers on the car and noticed over time some things have changed .. more recently so. The chirp has been gone for a few thousand km's and the idle has for some reason completely adjusted itself. When AC is off it's perfect .. and only sometimes will it be erratic with the AC on.

The idle also is much smoother than ever before.

Finally, the car used to have a weird roughness in the powerband when over 6000 RPM. 6000+ did not rev through as smooth as the rest of the band. This has also completely corrected itself.

Right since the start I have used a few different oils. I have used Motul 0W30, Redline 5W30 and now Motul 5W30. I have recently started using RS*R Ran Up additive which has strangely increased my fuel economy by a solid 2-3mpg city .. less noticeable highway.

I have not reset my ecu or flashed it ever. I did a mid-pipe and cat-back at under 5000 kilometers and recently put in a Blitz drop-in filter.

I used to be unhappy with how this car ran .. and now it seems to be doing great.

Mine is running better too.. cars kind of get into their groove after 20,000 km. That is not a magical number or anything proven, just something my father, grand father and their friends all say and they were or still are mechanics
