Anyone gonna put STI parts on their 86/FRS?

was just thinking about this, i do like the STI parts more than the TRD counterpart. will anyone do the same? or you guys gonna strictly put on parts specifically from the same brand?

suddenly, having an STI badge on the 86 would make sense too LOL

A lot of Impreza parts can be swap into FRS/BRZ, so not only swap within FRS & BRZ, but I'll upgrade parts w other Toyota & Subaru parts

I would. If I buy the BRZ, I'll still get the TRD duckbill.

I like the BRZ front lip extension so if that fits on the FR-S and looks good with the duckbill spoiler, which I'm definitely signing up for, I'll grab one of those. As for non-cosmetic parts, I'll wait to drive the car.

Certain stuff would be fine, suspension, engine parts, etc. But I wouldn't have any STi badging on the car, and that would include parts that had STi badging.

I was going to be doing the brakes, even though I'm getting a FR-S I was going to get a set of STI brakes, respray them red, add the white TRD emblem and high temp clear them, because I will be increasing the HP to 250-300 I figured it was an investment worth doing. along with braided steal brake lines.

What's your secret?

Also putting TRD emblems on STI parts is not cool man, just get a different brand if you dont want STI.

To me, TRD on a Subaru and STI on a Toyota is just wrong; no matter what the item is.
