Quality report not so great for scion

It's not looking good for scion, dead last. Subaru doesn't fare much better.

This doesn't seem fair to calculate in this manner. Low production companies have a better chance to score higher.

That's because too many people complain about little things.. The "crickets" wind noise, little rattles.. Some people act like this should be a 40k luxo car instead of a cheap 25k sports car

moto said it best when he said if people complain about the little issues on this car then they would die having a LFA.. If its something that prevents the car from being used properly, then I think that's a issue.. Otherwise.. It's just "first world problems"

Scion is basically toyota............furthermore all scion line up is assemble in japan. I think there is a problem with how the rating is conducted.

Unless subaru (FRS/BRZ) alone accounts for scion/subaru droping so much on the IQS rating compare to previous years.

Man, GTFOH! (Not to anyone here) Before I bought mine, I lurked the forums for a while...doing research and getting feedback about the car so I can know what to expect. However, when I pulled the trigger, I went in NOT expecting luxury in mind and NOT expecting BIG power. I knew what I was getting into. But...coming from my last owned car ( '01 Mitsubishi Mirage) and a shared car for a while ('02 Civic EX), this car was a real treat and a big upgrade for me. I was in it for the DRIVING experience.

i've had less issues with my kia than any car i've ever bought, fr-s included. hell i don't even change the oil in the damn thing but every 15,000 miles and it runs like a sewing machine. don't underestimate the koreans. even toyota started out building cheap shit.

just as a punch in the balls my kia is also much, much faster than my fr-s was before the turbo. it hurt me to know that.

Scion has always fared lower than Toyota in every quality chart ive seen (for whatever reason...they're one in the same really).

This is just their lowest showing.

Just my opinion, but I'd say its because they are cheap cheap cars and people think when they get the cheap car it should act as if its a nice luxo car..

Saw a IQ owner at the dealership complaining about the engine power and cheap dash... Really??? You didn't test drive it?? You didn't sit in it??? WTF is wrong with people.. It's a cheap 15-17k car it's not a Benz or BMW.. It's not made to have power, or luxo items.. And I bet when he did his report.. It was all shit grades, because he didn't do his part and make sure it's the car he wanted before he bought it..

I bet people have real complaints.. DI seals leaking.. CEL and a lot of stuff like that.. But after you've taken your car in to the shop 5 times for leaking tail lights.. Why not get the 10$ gaskets this guy on here sells and fix the problem yourself, instead of bitching.. I mean it sucks and you SHOULDN'T have to, but make things easier on yourself.. The crickets.. Keep going I. And replacing the pump with the same pump and keep using your ethanol gas that people believe the problem stems from.. Or just wait till a real fix, or stop using ethanol fuel.. Geez it's not that hard... Spoiled ass Americans we have become
