Roadtripping in the BRZ, 4 to 1262 miles in two days!
Picked up the car from Heuberger Motors in Colorado Springs last Friday, then my dad and I drove 1262 miles back to San Diego (Friday and Saturday) to make it home. It was a great time with my dad, as a Father's Day road trip (now that we are both dads)
Here are some pictures and thanks again Clint Earhart for a great and easy process! We left CO Springs at around 4pm (after visiting the AF Academy), then got home on Saturday at around 8:30pm. Car did great through out the whole drive! The images below start at the dealership with Clint, then the taped-down car before the drive, then us going through New Mexico, then spending the night in Gallup, then Arizona, finally CA. The last two are my dad and I on our driveway and my first modification that we did that Sunday morning, we did a custom installation of the Subaru 4/2pot calipers. I think they look much nicer than stock Last picture is the car finally all cleaned up after removing the tape (which I must say worked great, not a single scratch on the car!)

Nice man! I'm in CO Springs til November and want to pick up a BRZ and drive back to NC instead of flying, since most of the dealerships don't even have any BRZ in stock back home. Any tips for the long trip? Is your warranty/maintenance covered at any Subaru dealership? Sorry if that's a dumb question, I've never purchased a brand new vehicle before.

Thanks everyone, the trip was pretty nice but we are glad to be back
I will call around my local dealerships this week regarding the maintenance, as I know its recommended that I change the oil after the first 1K miles.Regarding the calipers, the rears were fine (but added spacers to improve the stance), the front needed spacers, but a simple 7mm spacer did it. Car is getting a clear bra this weekend so ill update on how that goes
