Stroker Kit for the love of god!!!

HKS premiered one at an auto show back in 2012 and to date no one can get their hands on that one or another that i'm aware of...

I understand the idea of handling over power with this car but come on... some one has to see the unfilled niche of a stroker kit..

I want my 2.3L fa20DIT

The rod ratios are pretty bad already, due to the packaging constraints. I don't see a stroker kit working well in this application. I'd love to be proven wrong, thought.

Exactly my thinking. You'd certainly have to have a lower rev limiter. Want more displacement, go H6 I can't imagine it would be hugely expensive, I see the biggest challenge would be integrating the electronics.

Keeping with the theme, according to most of the women I've known, girth beats length.
Any room to bore the cylinders a little?

they gave us a bad rod ratio and made up for it with a huge transmission tunnel.

At Top Of The Trop meet for the Tri state owners club, Esoteric performance was there. they said that a 2.2 stroker kit was going to possibly be coming out by them. they also said something about new cams soon. im going to guess with cams in our cars we should easily with supporting mods make over 240whp assuming it responds well to cams. with all bolt ons plus cams maybe even a BBTB and a tune it should make a lot MORE. with a 2.2 stroker with cams it would deff make alot more than 240whp.

240whp naturally aspirated would be just about perfect for me (hell, i'd take 230whp NA), maybe toss in a lightened flywheel, cf driveshaft and taller final drive for good measure.

All this waiting for a stroker kit is going to drive me nuts. I'd love to see a price for one so I know if I have to sell a kidney or a lung or both.

Exactly, I have no car, in the mean time things changed, but I'm looking forward to any sort of engine build. Even if no storker kit, just engine kit to make 250 PS at the crank with + 8.500 RPM redline.
