Nigel JDM seat covers question.
I posted before I have Nigel seat covers the ones that just go over the cloth.
I had asked around here on the forum about which heating elements everyone is using etc. I have few questions.... 1. I hav the OEM switches for the heated seats that come with the 86/BRZ. I have the diagram from Toyota that shows center counsel with the pic of where the switches go obviously with holes already in the counsel. well there are no holes in my counsel. So I guess I will have to have my buddy do hack into the counsel unless the center counsel it self isnt that expensive and wholes are already pre cut. I just dont know if its worth the money to buy a whole new counsel becausee I was going to use that money to buy the OEM armrest. Anyways i wanted to do heated and cooled seating but the installer told me that the seats where to small to be cool and the material was not perferated enough for proper ventilation for the A/C so I guess the cooling thing is out of the equation unless one of my fellow owners on here has any other knowledge of how this could be done. The interior guy also said that the size of the seat is another reason they can not be cooled. 2. Nigel maybe you can chime in. But for the rear seats do you offer anything that matches the front or would this be something that would have to be done custom? 3. I searched through the threads tried to fine the pics of Nigels seat covers installed. Cant seem to find it unless I loosing my eye sight if anyone is subscribed to it could you please post the link to the thread as I want to save the photos to my phone and show to the interior guy. 4. Off topic kind of I was going to wait until closer to winter to get an XB however I found a release series with leather local leather etc for a good price the hot lava one. It looks like the leather is actually just leather covers like NIGELS covers. They are not heated though so I wanted to install heating element in those also but I am not sure if that material on those seat covers can be cooled? Has anyone seen those covers in person to know what I am asking? 5. Also anyone who can or has time could you post what elements you have gotten for your seats and how you like them. Sorry for long winded post on something that may have been talked about before I just could not locate the thread so sorry if this is a repeat question. Take care and thanks guys Dan
