the route is:
joburg - kimberley - upington - saldhana -cpt - mosselbay - knysna

but looking at last year's lineup, i'm afraid i'd feel a bit underpowered in my 86

i'd love to see us represented there, just not feeling brave enough to drive myself given how my last track experience went. it does leave a bit of a trauma

I think they run the track sessions one at a time to avoid issues like you had.

And on the power front, there was a Clio (and a Ford Ranger and even a Mahindra!!!!!) there last year.

My brother, we almost took his S2000 as well, but decided it would be more fun in 1 car, and the 86 does distance way more comfortably than the Honda!

Clen from Blacktop sent me a mail this morning, there are two other 86's interested in doing the rally; one from PE (with some mods) and another from Pretoria.

Anyone here?
