Slotting Struts

I have not seen a dedicated thread on slotting struts so I thought I would bring it up because I am thinking about doing this to the rear struts. NAOSIC says 1mm = -.8 degree of camber, and slotting the upper hole is ideal. I know you have to be careful about weakening the tower, and also the bolt slipping. Thoughts?

Sure you need more camber at the back? Usually it's the front that rolls over.

The rear of the car does not have struts. There is no upper hole to slot.

I have camber bolts in the front. I assumed since there are camber bolts for the rear that work the same way as the front that slotting would work the same in the rear as well.

Ok, quick look at a pic of the rear...yeah, really just need to get new arms.

Yup. There's also a whiteline camber adjustment bushing for the upper arm that works well (and replaces a soft bushing with poly which is nice). The install is a pain though.

The "rear camber bolt" thing is just a camber bolt modified to work as the inboard rear LCA mounting bolt. There is a thread about it floating around here somewhere.

Not saying it works well or doesn't, just something I saw mentioned recently so that might be what you heard of.
