It would be nice if FR-S came with a more premium feature option.
After all BRZ has two levels.

I don't even want to know the final price of all that. LOL.
And you know the Subaru model has all the features you were looking for... for only 1-2k more? |

i would have gotten a brz but im not a fan of the "mustache" front end. i'd def swap out for a frs bumper. the wing would come off and im not a fan of the "vents" in the front fender. def swap out for the frs's 86 pistons.
i guess the only option i want for the frs is push to start  |

In Australia we have -:
Toyota 86GT - $33K Toyota 86GTS - $39K Toyota 86 Aero - $41K (Hideous rear wing) Subaru BRZ - $37K Subaru BRZ Premium - $40K (though with auto, spoiler, SatNav etc. my BRZ ended up being almost $46K.) |

Scion doesn't do trim levels. You just add on yourself. Always been their philosophy of the mono-spec design. Been like that from the beginning, never going to change. If you want a special edition buy yourself a release series. As flawed as it might be Scion had always done it this way.
Here's a quote from some training material I received at the FR-S release event. Scion Mission: Scion is an unconventional automotive brand that makes it easy for Social Motivators to own a car that reflects who they are and where they are going. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

I'm not missing anything the FR-S doesn't have. If I wanted to compare standard features (and disregard the benefit of not having them in a performance vehicle), I would have ended up with a ford fusion.

There's no shortage of well-equipped rwd cars. BMW, Lexus, Mercedes and Infiniti all offer rwd models with a lot of features either standard or available as options.
If your objection is that those cars are more expensive and heavier, then perhaps you have discovered the reason the FR-S is weak on equipment. I can always add stuff to an FR-S if I want. There's no way to get a current BMW down to ~2700 pounds. -Justin

you want options? Get the Series 10 FR-S. It's basically a Euro/Aussie 86.

Isn't the weight difference between the FR-S and Fully loaded BRZ like 20lbs (2758 vs 2776)? LOL take the spare tire out when you go to the track
