Personally I would just Plastidip it. But a lot of people seem to hate on Plastidip since it's not expensive enough for them.

I Plasti-dipped mine, can upload a pic upon request. Only temporary until I get my wheels, then ima peel it off and keep it white. I was at a shop today that's a certified painter for Plasti-dip and he couldn't believe how good it came out for being from a can rather than a spray gun. Took like 6 coats to get it perfectly smooth and even tho :/

COuld you please post some pictures? Hm because i've been wanting to get the really glossy look to it.. almost like a paint finish gloss thats why im cnsidering vinyl wrap gloss black but i may change my mind...But i think gloss would look better since im going to replace my fender pieces with the seibon carbon fiber fender pieces http://seiboncarbon.files.wordpress....ooth-brz23.jpg
im getting these because i have no choice... my original piece on passenger side got wrecked from a hit and run...

I'll post some pics tomorrow, no light outside and its 1:30 am. I didn't bother ordering the glossifier and glossing it however since it's temporary. The glossifier looks very good (seen it in person on an entire car) and it's nice because depending on how many coats you put on you can make it anywhere from flat to high gloss.

Where did you go to get your car done? I noticed you're in SoCal....I've never heard of a certified plasti dip painter before. I'd rather him do it then myself!

Something as small as the roof wouldn't be worth it. It's really easy to DIY.
The only time getting it done by an installer would be worth it IMO would be if you wanted the whole car done. And even then I would just buy a sprayer and do it myself.
