I posted this in another thread but thought some of you might have interest in viewing it. This took place in Mishawaka Indiana at the Town & Country Shopping Center. Several of the drivers are still around and several of them are or were my friends. Lloyd Loring (The Voice of Solo II) provided the footage. Enjoy

It's pretty crazy to see a Gull Wing Mercedes being flogged in a parking lot. Bob Tarwacki was the guy driving the Ferrari. God only knows what that car's worth today. He owned a bunch of them back in that era too. You could buy them for 3 or 4 thousand back then.

Would like to know who, locally, owned a Gullwing.

Left in 1984, but my Mom still lives there.

I believe his last name was Crowell. I could be wrong on that.

Wow that was amazing. We've come so far with tire and suspension technology...everything was so rolly-polly and slow. Imagine time-traveling there there with a Miata on R-comps and absolutely destroying everything.

It looks like some of the Porsche 356's did rather well.
