The Essense of the Project Car
Please forgive me and lock the thread if it's a repost.
Speed Hunters - The Essense of the Project Car Saw this video last night and thought it was pretty awesome. Dude builds a daily driven track beast that's a never-ending project. I think it's the same car/guy from http://12-gaugegarage.com/. Maybe the BRZ will turn into a perpetual project like this someday.

Thanks!
I should clarify. It isn't a perpetual project in the money pit sense. More in the constantly trying little adjustments sense. Different aero. Different suspension settings. That sort of thing. It's a really reliable car, mechanically speaking. And yes, I think the FR-S (and its brothers) will be a lot like the 911 one day. So long as they keep making it and it finds a place in SCCA and other club racing. |

Jack,
Thank you for talking about the placement and dynamics of the rear engine in a frank manner. In some circles that's heresy and it's refreshing to hear it from a true blue enthusiast as yourself. But enough about your car. Your garage is the real star. I think you have one of the most famous garage's on the internet.

Fuuu every time I see a nice air cooled 911 I get this fever...
Need to start living in a place with a good workspace first though, the self control is maddening. |
