Burnt Rubber smell

I've been smelling a burnt rubber kind of smell for the last couple of days now, everytime i get out of my car i could smell it so strong... i try to figure out where the smell was coming from and it wasnt from the breaks wheels exhaust or anything but it came from the engine itself but when i opened the hood i couldnt really figure out where it came from... anyone else having this kinda problem?

Me too and I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out where it's coming from. Usually there after a long commute or some spirited driving.

Engine smell

I noticed a smell coming into my frs after some hard driving and I could not pinpoint where it was coming from. The smell was present after hard driving for sure, but it smelled like oil to me. I have over 2000 miles on my
manual frs now and I have not noticed the smell lately.

It's the Japanese air freshener they installed in all the cars. It makes the car smell faster.

Im having the same problem, especially on 90 degree right or left turns, counter steering along with throttle input only enhances this effect, should i be worried? I think so, I'm going to test this around a few more corners today and see if I can get down to the bottom of this...

It was some stuff that was leftover from manufacturing that are burning off.

it shouldnt be a problem they said its just some stuff burning off from manufacturing... if it doesnt go away after a week or two you'd prolly wanna check it out and bring it to the shop or something... otherwise it should be fine!

Its the shrink wrap for the electronics curing, ambient heat slowly does this, fyi

Along with all the other plastic resins inside the engine compartment
