Fog lights behind grille?
Has anyone done this yet? I was looking on the piaa website and it looks like they have kits that should fit well. You would lose some beam angle in the grille honeycomb though unless you thinned that out...
http://www.piaa.com/store/p/70-2000-...-Lamp-Kit.aspx They are cheaper on amazon but the company website gives you a better idea of what you are looking at. My biggest reason to want them is to be able to see the road more clearly in rain, snow and fog. This isn't about looking good, it's about seeing well. Has anyone here worked with these lights before? I would probably paint the housings black to try to hide them. |

I kinda like the look of these actually but one thing is if you want the best output, painting it black/smoking it would probably severely reduce the light you get.

Pretty sure the OP was talking about the housing being blacked out.
