NK 86 build thread - Australia

Hello all,

Creating this build thread to log progress of the car, to keep track of the numerous updates, Lots of pictures (taken mostly by phone). be a troll or be a hater i don't have time for keyboard warriors.

Been into cars as long i can remember, I'm Toyota obsessed, i have owned multiple corollas, FWD i might add, but played alot with 4AGE motors, i then had a stint in lexus is200, not my kinda thing too luxo barge, however i then got my hands on a Altezza which i adored like nothing else and was quite a rarity in the land of aus., making around 200rwkw, it had all the fancy bits, but personal life and the new job needed a more of daily drive,

I've wanted a 86 ever since the first concept release. Then the second black concept came along omfg i wanted it even more! I had a red aero on order when these were first launched in Australia, however the altezza didn't want to leave, so after a bit of time, and brief stint driving a 350z around (worse car ever) i got my hands on my 86

Picked up a white GTS aero mid December 2013

How do you like that beatrush rear strut tower brace? It looks like you don't lose any trunk space with it, since it's below the trunk floor? Notice any differance with it?

it sits below the boot carpet unlike the cusco one, you do have to cut into the foam things but not to hard with a steak knife

, made the rear end a bit tighter, the tyres i have on the back are cheap and cant really handle to much lateral load so as a whole with the swaybars and springs its a very tight in the end now
