Question Advan Wheels

Hey guys,

Had a chat to a dealer today who told me that apparantly ADVAN are the "hottest" and "most popular" racing wheels on the market at the moment (generally speaking).

Does anyone have any experience with them? or no if they make a decent, lightweight wheel? (compared to GramLights or Enkei for instance).

Cheers.

Advan is Yokohama Tyres 's sub brand and their stuff are good but not cheap.

Are you sure that he wasn't just saying that to sell you wheels? Advans are great wheels but I highly doubt they are the hottest in the market.

You'd have to look for specific wheels for their specs but they are great wheels, also has a higher price tag.

Ask to see the survey results an independent researcher has done surveying the "hottest" and "most popular" wheels.

Advans Racing RS are very light but for me the extra $600 or so dollars per wheel over a corresponding RPF1 makes them poor value for a slight weight saving. (17x7.5 RS is 6.7kg; RPF1 6.9 kg. 18x8 RS is 7.7 kg, RPF1 8.15 kg)

From what i've seen they are light, look good but are expensive. If i had the money to burn i'd be looking closely at the RZs

It's hard to say if they're the "Hottest" wheels on the market today, but they're certainly on the top lists of many. Wouldn't necessarily say they're #1 though. I think most of us certainly like them
