Prices

Will the prices of the FRS go down? like when used ones start coming out will I be able to get them for cheaper in about 4-5 months?

I'm assuming that your interest is in a new purchase, correct? If so, I don't feel the prices will go down... It's more of a niche sports car, which is priced reasonably as a brand-new purchase from the manufacturer.

I feel it would be wiser to go ahead and plan / buy the car when you're comfortable and ready, opposed to giving up an unpredicatable amount of your invaluable time for the sake of trying to save a bit more money on top of an excellent value which this car brings along.

Good luck with your decision.

$27691.95, no negotiating for my FR-S, straight MSRP, TTL. This was on 11/11 I was quoted and these cars have been around for what, 6-7 months?

Not to mention, this price is pretty low compared to the competition and what you get. My good friend Demand is still way higher than Supply even today, so to answer your question simply, you will continue to pay MSRP till most dealers can keep these in stock.

You are correct. I feel like the same story would happen with the counterpart as well. I'm a big Toyota supporter though.

I just bought mine yesterday 1k under MSRP, but dealer add-ons made it back, and it was take it or leave it. I did get a ipad2 thrown in for buying on Black Friday

The dealership had a used black auto with 200 miles for 26991. I tried to get them to lower the price for a week, gave up and bought the new one.

I paid $26,845 out the door and that's with $2,000 off MSRP. I got the school discount and was able to negotiate them taking that paint protection crap they try to sell with the car. I also got the BeSpoke package with it as well so I'd say it was a pretty good deal considering they are strict on prices.
