Brz for msrp

Could you guys post where you guys bought a subaru brz for msrp or less?
Riverside/San Diego/Los Angeles area preferred.

And how long you had to wait since the preorder. Thanks

There's a good thread in the main forum regarding this issue. I tried for weeks to find one at or below MSRP in all of California and was totally unsuccessful. Maybe you'll have better luck.

I would usually get anywhere from $2k - $5k markup (non-negotiable) or the "well it's first come first serve" nonsense.

I ended up buying it from a dealer in Colorado for $600 under MSRP. Took about a month to get here from when I saw it on their website and ordered it.

^^^ +1

It's only been 4 wks since i've had my car. If you want one in this year i'm not sure you'll find one for MSRP. If you're willing to go for a FRS then it's much easier and they are more abundant (just watch those dealer installed options). Seems like the BRZ is in higher demand since Puenty Hills Subaru wants 6.5k over and Glendale Subaru wanted $5k over. Pretty flippin ridiculous!!

Here's what interesting... About 2 months ago, I put myself on the secondary "list". This is the list where if one of the allocated cars happens to fall thru, gets cancelled, or financing didn't work out, they start calling people on this secondary list. Until this day not any of the 12 or so dealers have called me.

I went out of state.

Do you guys think when the 2014 models start hitting the show room, there will still be hype surrounding the BRZ? I’m hoping the hype dies down and so those of us who can’t find a deal on the BRZ will have better luck. I’m waiting out for 2014 after reading about the CEL issues. I think I read good feedback from Irvine Subaru, so I’ll check them out soon.

I was in the exact same situation. I got mine probably from the same dealer you did for the same price. Mine should be here in a few weeks.

I put a $500 deposit on a FRS just a couple days before until I found out about Heuberger Subaru. Definitely check them out.

Might have to travel. NE you can get near invoice by some reports, I got mine back in May for $499 over invoice but my dealer is charging MSRP currently I believe.
