my car was like runnig last night???

i woke up and went out for a smoke last night my car was making a sound like the thing was running.like a ghost was in it?making a humming sound.like the fuel enjection was running?very strange indeed...has anyone had this happen?it was like it was trying to start up?at 5:00 a.m. what the hell is going on now i said.making a humming sound.and my knob on the stick is already comming apart with only 800 miles on her? i started it let it run for 2 mins. turned it off all was good.but what about the next days to come?

It's in your owner's manual. And also somewhere in this forum. I'm too lazy to search it for you but I can at least say that it's normal.

Here's what's in BRZ's manual.

Weird, the FR-S manual's got that line a little different.
